great very little media player that has in my opinion everything you really need .
it has no problem with 4 x 1TB my book hdd attached to usb hub .
it shows you the hdd name that you gave the hdd under vista , which is great when you have more hdd attached .
very fast in skipping from hdd to hdd , which is a problem with the popcorn hour .
great picture in 1080p .
the menu is like the psp3 , so really easy to use and it has only what you really need .
you can move the picture up and down with the remote in 2 steps up and down .
some people dont like the remote , but i like it . its small and has what you need on it .
i dont care that there is no volume control on the remote .
the menu jumping is fast as well .
and i am pretty happy with the firmware updates from western digital and i am pretty sure that there will come more great updates , cause its a long time firm .
it doesnt play dvd backups with menus . its starting right away with the main movie wihich would be ok , but only plays then the first vob file and starts over again .
but i am sure in some weeks it will be solved by updates .
chapter jumping is right now not possible as well , only if you press forward and the skip you can jump in 5,10 minutes blocks , which is ok .
if you have main movie backups in ts or iso it plays them all great and without stutter and in one shot .
do i like it , yes . i also use the tomacro and popcorn hour , which have tons of more feature , but they most times work only half ass . so i use right now only the wd .
if you need LAN , buy the popcorn hour , but you will have to spend some time with it to figure everything out . the wd is idiot proof .
where shall you buy it ? right here at only best rated , they have great service and leo is amazing fast in chatting ......
