The MED500X is the latest generation Multimedia Player specially developed by Sanji for today’s demanding media enthusiast. The Mede8er has been designed for good solid media playback from a hard drive, USB device, SD Card, Internet or Local Network source. The User Interface is neat and intuitive without being complicated.

Sanji have more than achieved its design goals of offering a media player that supports most of the popular media formats at a very affordable price.  The Mede8er fully supports the very latest MKV-H264 codec that achieves an incredible compression ratio whilst still maintaining a reasonable file size

HD JPEG Rendering: Just connect the Mede8er to your TV and start enjoying all your digital media on your big screen. The Mede8er incorporates a HD JPEG engine that renders still digital images with superb clarity on your large screen TV. Now you can enjoy slide shows with background music with your family and friends. For easy convenience you can even insert your Camera's SD card directly into the Mede8er and view your pictures directly from the memory card.

Modern GUI: The Mede8er MED500X User Interface has been designed in HD so icons are crisp and clear in all TV settings. The interface is easy on the eye and simple to use for any family member. The Setup Menu provides variable user option settings depending on personal user preference.

In Folder Preview: The MED500X has a special in folder preview feature that allowes you to view a JPEG image inside a folder. This feature enhances your browsing experience and allowes you to customise you Media Library to your own personal taste. Without opening the folder you can zoom the picture to full screen with the press of a button on the Mede8er remote. You can just use simple cover art or use one of the many free programs that are available on the Internet like YAMJ and TViXIE, that will render an elaborate about.jpg with information on synopsis, rating, year, cover art, actors etc.

File Manager: The Mede8er MED500X has a built in File Manager that allows you to transfer all your Files, Pictures, Videos and Music directly via USB, SD Card or Wire/Wireless Network. You can easily transfer files to and from any supported device via the on-sceen menu.

Optional WiFi 802.11n: The new and improved Mede8er MED10WF provides superior performance and interoperability within mixed network (802.11B, 802,11G and 802,11n) The Mede8er MED10WF is backward compliant with all 802.11b/g/n wireless equipment. With the new WPS button it was never easier to set up your wireless secure connection!

Internet Radio: With the Mede8er you can listen to your favourite Shoutcast Internet Radio station from anywhere in the world.

Packaging: The MED500X is packaged in a modern gift box including all the accesories you will need to get going. The kit includes a high deffinition HDMI cable suitable for high bandwidth signals as required in true 1080p Video files.

Main features:

Ergonomic: To assist ease of use operation  - The Mede8er remote has been designed to be ergonomic and simple to use. Now while watching your Videos you can intuitively navigate and change certain function without the need to look down at the remote control. During Video Playback (excluding DVD files) you can use the navigation buttons for operational functions like Fast Forward, Rewind, Pause, Stop, Volume Up and Volume Down.

AVSHD+m2ts: The Mede8er MED500x fully supports most camcorder HD files - now you can organize, store and watch your family videos in full HD on your TV. Now there is no need to connect your camcorder to your PC to transfer your Videos, Pictures and files - you can do this easliy in the comfort of your TV Room with the built in Mede8er File Manager. Just connect your camcorder to the Mede8er via USB and select the files you want to transfer on your TV and Mede8er will do the rest.
